Top 3 Food Enemies That You Do Not Know!

By Frances Norah Smith

When it comes to weight loss, it pays to find out your friends and enemies: well, I mean, the good and bad foods. Bad foods are obviously your enemies while good foods are your friends. Sausage is a food which, even though very easy to make, is not at all good for someone who is looking forward to lose some weight. In this article, I will tell you why.

Sausages are fundamentally prepared with the help of several food leftovers. These food leftovers are then combined together with a large amount of fat. Then the whole mixture is fried. Frying surely hides the fat content of the sausage but then again, any fried food is sure to be rich in calories, right?

As you can see, sausage is simply not your friend when it comes to weight loss.

It pays to read the labels of food packages you buy. If a food package has no label then you need to use your commonsense. Sausage is one such example of how a little commonsense can help you a long way.

Sausages are however, not your only enemies! Your second enemy is pastry; that is because pastry is rich in calorie content. Fortunately in some cases it is possible to have your fill without the pastry. As an example, if you are a fan of Quiche, you can safely eat the eggs, bacon and broccoli while leaving the pastry 'as is'. Some simple precautions and discretions like this can help you lose weight fast!

Chips are yet another enemy. Chips are something to be concerned about because there is hardly a household these days which doesn't stock a couple of packets of chips at home. Chips, as you might already know, are rich in calories. Also, they contain a very high amount of fast carbs. Fast cards offer your body very little nutrition and as such, are useless; if anything, they make you fatter! Therefore chips are yet another enemy to be wary of!

When weight loss is concerned, food is what determines your body weight. Contrary to what people might believe, it is not always the amount of calories, but their source, that will determine whether you would gain weight or not. Here is an example. Apples are not low on calories, but no matter how many apples you eat in a day, your waistline won't get any wider! On the other hand, eat the same amount of pastries and burgers, and see if you don't gain in inches and pounds! Healthy eating is the key to success in weight loss!
